Right to clear things up, you can fit phase 1 or 2 headlights to a mk1 phase 3 car, you will need the phase 1/2 bonnet (which you have) Front bumper wise, the mk1 phase 3 has a built in grill, so you can leave that bit. As for wiring it all up, i've no idea, but i've seen it done.

Will it fit ?? The vee has one on it anyway, but as you know it's right under the car (oh and it rubs on things)

I used a thing which was a rubber strip & a handle which you could adjust, it grips it & won't mess it up. It's along the same lines as an oil filter chain removal tool. Got it from b&q.

It's a fair bit more than some on ph, I know it has a load of options on it, but the colour is totally gash ! Going to take a real enthusiast/colourblind person to buy that.
