Hi insurance is irrelevant if he is claiming from the other person. He could be inside the car parked up in the middle of a car park with no mot, no tyres and no tax and it still wouldn't matter. The fact is someone hit him. The OP doesn't need to worry about his mate or the insurance company.

I think you misunderstand. You won't strip anything back. If anything goes wrong it'll only be the wax on top of the afpp that will fail, not the sealant itself. You think one of the best detailers in the country would tell you to top it if you can't?

Most of the time Jim uses AFPP on it's own, I don't think he has time to wait 12 hours to apply Midnight sun even if he has it. I'd be confident enough to say after 24/48 hours of curing i'd happily top AFPP with a wax. What's the worst that could happen? Trial and error mate.
