Remove it if you can and then heat gun it very lightly little bit at a time. With a tennis ball if you can. Best to take 10 trys at it than 1 big push and end up out the way. Always heat it from the inside. Should come out easily. I'm a bit of master with the heat gun and plastic dents. :)

Gaz there actually isn't such a thing as matt lacquer. I'll find out in the morning it could be matting agent but we never buy matt paint or lacquer. We just alter normal lacquer. Basecoat is matt ish anyway. It's the lacquer that makes it shiny unless it's a solid colour. :)

It's a frighteningly capable car but it just doesn't stir something inside me. Even the sound of it is all exhaust and very little engine roar but for the money you simply cannot go quicker. Even in this months Evo they compared the Gtr and Macca for ground covering pace. But R8 all day long...

I know a trader who bought an early R8 for 48k and fired it up the same day for 55k said he could have sold it ten times over! Cheap everyday Supercar imo. I'd have one in a second over a GTR!
