Well when i had brand new ones they where compressed, they "fall down" when trying to screw the nut on the top when reassembling the whole thing (springs top mount etc) and look at this pic on k-tec http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2810

Went for a proper drive, I think they rub when cornering very hard arg, so may lift the front slightly.

Well i've had a 172, which had 2 new gearboxs, and my 182 with 11k on it when i bought it was is crap. Don't get me wrong there "ok" but for a hot hatch there very poor, have to change gear to slowly then loose all engine revs etc.

I used to have a corsa, was far better! The clios is notchy and horrid.

You don't need to use spring compressors because the srpings are not under compression when the strut is off the car.

How has it got this far without mentioning the awful gearbox? Every car i've ever driven has a better gearbox.

This was my first effort, a little low!

It was either these or refresh standard, bought them second hand from a member on here, so could easily get back roughly what i paid for them if I don't like them.

Took us 3.5 hours lol Mainly adjusting the height etc though, car seams to drive fine, obviously it needs a proper b-road test. Not sure if i'll bother with getting it all alighed.

Not that i'm aware of yet, i've put it like this for now and will check it over at the weekend after i've done about 50 miles. First go at fitting the fronts had no idea how much to wind it up and when i took it of the axel stands it was silly low, must have been about 30mm off the ground.

Before: After: Not sure if it's to low for my liking Measured it againsts my friends 182 (on standard 16"s, mines on 15") and front is 40mm lower, and the rears about 43mm of standard.
