Have you re-routed the belt correctly, I assume you have completely removed the jubilee clip from the tensioner spring after fitting the belt?

Changed my PAS fluid today as it was black! Took all of 5 mins and was mess free too. Also felt the need to clean it too ;) ASW pics

As above, you will need to wriggle it as you pull up, but the clip you see is the only one its just a bit tight. I had mine up today as I changed my PAS fluid and cleaned the reservoir and filter, it was BLACK! lol

With it being French if your talking cylinder numbers then no1 starts at the flywheel/gearbox side of the engine and no4 would be the Cambelt side of the engine because the French like to do things backwards

Throttle pedal stuck under the carpet? if its cable and not fly by wire then check the cable isn't caught or jammed on something :) (you will need to look under the bonnet)

Contact a company called 'BBA -Reman' they are very good at what they do and will be able to look at your current ECU and make a decision whether it can be repaired or not, they should be able to supply a new one if its not repairable :) and should be much cheaper than the dealers
