So the rev limiting facility is based on oil temp then?

hhmmm, well i always let it get upto half temp yet still it limits at 6500rpm in second. Does this indicate a problem, or it it still just not warm enough? Any idea how much driving time is needed to get the car to the correct temp? Cheers.

I'm new to the Clio scene and i just wondered if its normal for my 172 to limit at slightly different times in different gears? The car is completely standard and i always let it get upto its proper operating temp before streching its legs :D
