For me if it's to be used as a daily driver, facelift for LED headlights!
From memory the 200 generally runs close to that power figure where the 220 never runs 220hp, so I don't think the difference is as big as it sounds on paper.
My Mégane gt205 (same engine) doesn't feel any slower than my...
a specialist breakers like Renomotive will have loads of them id have thought, i got a pair from a scrappy last week for a non RS which is slightly different where it meets the compressor
So both sat navs had the same fault but in the others car? and then afterword's both are working again in the original car? - So one car hasnt fried both sat navs?
On a side note, I didn't know people still used standalone sat navs 😂
hard to tell but id be starting with an Aux belt tensioner, timing belt tensioner or alternator clutch pulley (this was the cause on my dci 80 years ago)
Welcome to ClioSport - Cool project, more pictures and videos required!!
Still running JB1 box? they look similar casing wise to a JC5 (172/182/dci 80)so maybe a JC5 diff would fit but im not sure. (starter motor is at the front on a JB1 and rear on a JC5) - A diesel JC5 box would have longer...
Done the belts on this at the weekend as there was nothing in the history about it. Must have had a belt before now surely, cant be 25yr old and on its original belt.... or so i thought...
I think that belt would have done another 25 years! Even the aux belt was like new...
I...
Renault offer a focal upgrade kit which they will supply or supply and fit with door speakers and a subwoofer. Last I seen it was extremely expensive and probably not amazing. But it's an option
Didn't realise the fees were that high, Jesus!
Underside is pretty good on that, my benchmark has always been if the white sticker is still on the beam, the rest is good 😂
Was at the scrappy as there was a fairly late 1.2 16v Campus in, i actually went for the bonnet because mine is rotten on the underside, bonnet was good on the car in the scrappy in the pics but some genius had lifted it right up and back against the windscreen f**king it in the 2 days it had...
my mate had a 1.2 16v when we were 17 that had all the dealer options on it which I remember at the time thinking was cool, This spoiler, the Sebring exhaust and the factory "lexus lights" to name a few
From factory I believe the VVT is disabled from cold start, that's what Henk does with the RStuner, enables VVT from cold which I believe is why it makes them drive much better
2 different cars, i owned 692 and there is also 690, both with no numbers, think they are both car supermarket euro imports, no window etching/ locking wheel nuts /alarm
Started cleaning up the arches, also sourced a nice condition set of factory mud flaps so took the time to remove all the arch liners, clean everything up behind them and fit the flaps in the process
Suspension was all original, covered in surface rust but was nice to see its not even had a...
To be fair id imagine those do very very little (you can see theres no marks where its been flexing and moving)
should be able to drill it out, clean up the threads and get a bolt from a scrappy, or just drill it out and nut and bolt it as you can get access to the other side easily.
@aldo_87 dropped off a set of fairly decent condition eibach sport lines he found in his garage, so swapped them on, took 20 mins to do all 4 springs which I was impressed by!!!
Also fitted a set of genuine mud flaps I got from the scrappy
When I used to work at a garage our cost from supplier (Stapleton's) was always more than average Joe could buy them from camskill (including delivery!) and at the time we added £25 markup per tyre, with "free" fitting and balancing. So didn't matter if it was a £50 budget or a £350 super wide...
