Working long hours and trying to get a start up business off the ground is doing some very weird things to my mind. I often find my ebay watch list looking quite eclectic, last week it had a Renault Avantime and about 3 Sega Master Systems in it. This week, it had a lot of MK2 Golfs. You see...
I went for this, and it was £10k under your budget from a main dealer. I've had it nearly 6 months and if anything it's worth the same as the day I bought it, maybe more? I know they're a bit of an unknown for future values, but it bodes well that the E46 is climbing, as well as this being the...
The engine is the star of this car, it makes it. It's the last N/A Screamer that BMW will ever make, I'm sure of that!
I love my paint, and I love having a super clean car. But after seeing the damage caused by my Wales trip I just thought "Whats the point", I'm afraid if I pay a tonne for...
Took it to Amsterdam for the weekend, it was an absolute dream the whole way there. Averaged 25mpg cruising at around 80-90potatoes, and provided much entertainment (For me, not the GF so much) through any tunnels I had to go through.
When I got back I took the day off to "recover" and...
A small gathering of interesting stuff at "The Duke of London". The company itself specialising in selling a fantastically diverse range of cars, they've recently moved to a bigger place and this is the first "Classics & Cake" event held there. I took some pictures, here they are.
From what I...

The Volvo by Jason.Easton, on Flickr
It had its first clean since I bought it! £8 well spent at the Brexit wash, she comes up lovely. Then used it to visit a safari park for fear of rabid monkeys ripping my BMW to shreds. No exotic animals touched the Volvo in the end...
Oh it will for sure, but once the tyres are up to temperature you have to really force it, or at least have some commitment/speed to get it sideways. I found myself putting it into corners at increasingly silly speeds and it just gripped and gripped, compare that with my last car (Toyota GT86)...
Mine has slightly wider tyres that it should, and they're super sports. Its surprisingly tough to get it sideways other than doing cool things out of junctions like you mention. It tends to just grip and launch me towards wherever its pointed. So very capable, and surprisingly confidence...
It's surprisingly capable in "da twisties m8". Mainly due to the huge amount of grip! Barely had it sideways the whole trip, probably thanks to 275 Super Sports on the rear. Once they heated up they were really impressive!
Certainly a massive step up from the Toyota anyway lol
I was invited by a couple of friends to their yearly Wales trip. I've never been into Wales properly, had no idea the roads really were so spectacular. By Sunday afternoon there were just two of us, and it was an interesting comparison between my friends Mini Cooper GP2 and the M3. They're both...
Exciting update. I spent money on it! It now has a new wheel bearing, and my main man has managed to make the indicator work after its quick escape a month or two ago. The wheel bearing got so loud it was giving me a headache every day so I figured I should get it changed before I lost a wheel...
My old 330ci was a 5 speed and I got low to mid 30's in it. Mid 20's around town, not that bad really but I'm guessing the 325 is better? I'd be tempted by one as a daily myself if I didn't have the Volvo.
I get what you mean with BMW service as well. It's one of the reasons I was happy to buy...
f**k up, baldy.
But yeah the E46 is looking better with age for sure. Good man for going for a petrol too! The 325/330's are cracking cars if you keep on top of maintenance. I would have another if it was a gooden' like yours seems to be!
Thanks :) I'm happy to have a slightly odd colour.
I managed to miss the civic shunt but saw what was left. Ouch!
The Porsche didn't look too bad damage wise, it was just totally wedged in a hedge. Hopefully repairable! Looked like he had given it too many beans off a roundabout, caught the...
Not driven it that much tbf! Double the power of the GT86 so taking my time. I've been sideways in it but I'd like more room to get used to the balance.
Cheers dude!
And yes I did! I was following my friend out in the Exige you see in the clip just before mine. It was so slippery, you can hear mine struggling for grip. Not surprised he stacked it. A Cayman at the start nearly does too! On the way in I saw a 911 in a ditch, and my friend saw a...
