Likewise - absolutely left me speechless. This is how you hear of millionaires goung bankrupt.. to think you still need to be financing things with that wealth. I dread to imagine what his outgoings statement looks like on a mortgage and cars etc. It’s easy to forget that they are not buying...

100% get some cams in there. You’ll want to be revving that all the way out to listen to that inlet do its thing 🎺 I’d also do a raised limiter and ARP rod bolts…

My rusty Williams, where to start?

As above - forget the timing belt and gearbox leak. Cancel that appointment and keep the money for replacement panels and labour costs for the shell. Why have the belts done when the cars going to be off the road anyway.

    Clio Williams Project

Personally- things like brakes I’d be keeping. It’s a proper kit and not a home made contraption. No harm in venturing off OEM with stuff like that, they won’t hurt values of keeping it original.

Coolant hoses on a 21 year old Cup

It depends on what you use the car for IMO. If it’s not your daily and just a weekend, local B road blaster. Then it doesn’t matter if you break down. Other side of that is, if you plan on doing a euro/ring trip - then no doubt a hose will cost you a recovery.
