Fair enough. I have always liked the idea and a few blokes at work use them as there only vehicle. I guess they are small enough to be a daily or ok on tight roads. However the trade off I guess is less space. But great for 1-2 people.

Where are people on a mk7.5 vs mk8? Top end prices on earlier car are 12.5k where earliest examples of later car are 14k, st200 into mk8 prices. Guess maybe different answer std and tuned?

My Bro had a Mk 2 Astra GTE 16v. Superchiped with Scorpion Exhaust in say 1995. It was balistic. I still do not understand how 160 - 170 bhp felt so fast. But my 110 bhp Manta would eat it alive in the twisties. Steering had no feel either in the Astra.
