Need a drill, some emery or wet n dry and a bit of bar. Get a piece of bar (or a long bolt) that's smaller than the hole diameter. Hacksaw or slitting disc a slot 15mm or so down the end of the bolt. Get some emery cloth and tear the width to the depth of the slot. Insert end of emery into slot...

I've got one, and a few mates have too. I think if it bolted onto an omp boss it would stick out quite far. I also use a deep dish steering wheel so i made my own boss for it to bolt onto using an original steering wheel centre and I machined an alloy boss to fix it all together. Works well.

I did the reset thing that I read on here the other day with the old clutch. Just stuck the cable back on and tried it with the new clutch and it's good. Pedal slightly higher than brake pedal as all clios and bite feels good. No slipping now, that's the main thing.

Fitted the new clutch this morning and there is much happiness! ! Can't wait to get it mapped and finish wiring the epas and have a proper blast in it.

If your car is that loaded up be careful that vosa don't go pulling you over for exceeding the max weight of the Clio, I do know of the odd holiday goer that has been pulled for the vehicle being overweight. Good luck on your move though

Yeah from euro. I can only assume it's contaminated or something as cable etc all seem good. I can drive it ok normal, it's only heavy load that makes it slip.

Well I picked up a new Valeo clutch from Chester on the way home from work yesterday. I didn't open the box while I was there, but did when I was stuck in the races traffic only to see that it had been previously fitted. Wasn't happy with that, so called into the Wrexham depot on the way home...
