I totally agree with that! I was on the fence about this for ages and I still do flick from one side to the other. But Forensic Detailing Jon did a good video on it. The way he explained it was you're better off using a strong pre wash / shampoo to give tbe paint a properly good clean than to...

Glad it's not just me going mental. I did create or post on a pretty long and boring thread on detailingworld about it. I got plenty of feedback saying it did strip some lsp and plenty saying it didn't. From what I can gather, it's specifically designed to 'revive' ceramic coatings which, I'd...

Tbh I was really on the fence about reset. It always performed amazingly and being able to foam it on through a lance was lush in the winter! But, I was having issues with it degrading LSP's. That said, this was a while back and I was also using BH AF at a probably far too high dilution...

I had a sample of G Wash from a kit that Gtech did ages ago. Never really rated it tbh. Loads of people like it but just didn't really do it for me. Carpro reset is where its at. Still my fav shampoo by a stretch. Just a shame it's so 'strong' for maintenance washes

Probably! Most likely one of those Chinese products that everyone puts their own brand on. If you find any cheap ones let me know

Love the Incredimitt (can't remember brand maybe dodo). Hold so much water and I like being able to flip the pad to do 2 panels before going back to the buckets. Think I've got 2 or 3 of them now. Always reach for them first

So, this something I was thinking of recently. I guess it depends how warm/sunny it is outside. If its mega hot (not ideal washing weather anyway) then I would go straight in with the pure water. If its cloudy, or more suitable washing weather (yes, im that sad) then I would blast with my PW...

Yep, somethings up there @riz Could it be the sandy rain we have had or is this right after a rinse?

Ive not found it matters too much tbh. The only time an open hose would be better is if you are using it to 'dry' the car too. If youre sat there thinking 'drying the car with a hose wtf' then just google it. Its actually really effective. I use a spray gun :)

I didnt get to see it launch unfortunately other than the videos. But the videos tell you enough! Having actually been stood at that start line, you get a much better idea of scale. The way it does even the first 60ft is nuts. I'd love to see a Draggy time :ROFLMAO: Just popping off to see my...

Brilliant day yesterday at FOS. Always a great day but, regrettably, I did have an experience with some mongs after my previous posts - @MarkCup , you were right. Bit pissed, being a bit loud and obnoxious during the shootout kind of pissed me off. We were stood by T1 and they kept trying to...

I did have a debate about this the other day. Basically there are smutterings its not good for whatever reason - whether that be age of the resin or damage to the machine. I did it for a while and it worked fine but to me its just not worth risking with a spare hose ready to go. Ill have to...

I've used this and didn't rate it tbh! Garage Therapy Decon wash is where its at. Don't get me wrong, even GT won't strip fresh protection but even something slightly wobbling and this stuff smashes it. Warm water is a must. Foam first nice and strong. Then wash also with Decon and warm water...

Ill be there sunday! In regards to the 'less favourable people' attending. Ive been to the last 4 or so and not once spotted any oiks. Okay, sometimes you get people doing dumb s**t like rubbing their hands over the cars. But generally speaking, its awesome. I love it. Never get free tickets...

exactly that mate. Its to use for a 'final rinse' after youve washed the car. It basically removes the need to dry the car. Pure water = no hard spots. For me, its especially important. My drive is unobstructed and south facing so in the summer its sun from 8am to 9pm. Its a nightmare when...

Yeaaah. I dunno its mixed reviews everywhere I look. Some say it's fine, others report issues with machines from it and ive also read the PW pulls water through it too fast which degrades the resin quickly. Who f**king knows. I'll probably just stick with the extra expandy hose for final rinse...

When I did it properly, my 115 resin lasted a year. And I used it weekly! Just for final rinse but still. I'm quite tempted to hook my 11L up to my PW again to go back to my previous set up. Knowing my luck it will f**k all my resin though 😂

Exactly that! I always found that s**t too. I think, IIRC, you can get away with putting 10L in an 11L one. Wont be ideal but it will work and saves you paying the million quid for that last 1L

@JamesBryan Im sure Leeds will reply on that one but ill jump in too. I bought a 25L bag and it was absolutely w**k within 48 hours of being opened. I even taped it back up pretty securely but nope, it was a gonner. £85 down the drain. Seriously, heed my advice - only buy what you need :)
