You can get products specifically for matt paint so not sure if wrap can use the same product. Swissvax do a range - https://www.swissvax.co.uk/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=6628638b8132805069b75c44c2a1c8d1&Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=MATT-PAINT

    Electrical Issue (Volvo)

If the battery is low o charge is it clever enough to cut off non essential electrics first? Getting it in a garage later today so hopefully they won't pull my pants down as it's only a stop gap until I sort something else out.

    Electrical Issue (Volvo)

Apparently its the alternator according to the technician, borrowed the jump pack from work and left it connected to the battery whilst I drove it home. Think I've got the Skittles touch as I'm only in this as my car us buggered.

Cheers for the effort, just lied and changed the reg she's covered for to the Volvo. Jumped it and drive about a mile before the lights went and then the engine cut out.

    Electrical Issue (Volvo)

Ok so I've somehow managed to break the 54 plate S40 I'm using. Got the battery light on the dashboard and from what I've tested the heated seats don't work, Auto on the fan dial is out and the rear heated screen doesn't function. Likely to be a fuse out or something else do we think? If fuse...

    'Oil Pressure too low' warning.

Apparently the oil was full of soot and cheap which has damaged the bearings, they've flushed the oil but reckon the damage is done. Going to see if the Gf's Dad thinks he can swap the engine if not run it until it completely fails I guess.

    'Oil Pressure too low' warning.

It had a major service last March but has spent a lot of time in the garage the past 6 months getting all sorts of faults sorted.

    'Oil Pressure too low' warning.

Its not a low oil warning, its pressure and doing some googling through up many possibilities. Checked the oil level and it seems fine.

    'Oil Pressure too low' warning.

Its not a Clio but hoping some mechanically educated folks may be able to help, my '07 207 HDi decided to flash this up as I was driving home tonight, kept going on and off so may be intermittent fault so hoping may just be a dodgy connection on a sensor or something. I'll check the oil level...

I'll ask in here. Wall mounts, are there any better than others, doesn't need to be particularly adjustable and to hold a 49" tv. What brands are the go to, never put a tv on the wall before so I'm not clued up.

    The New Phone Thread

Took my phone off charge at 08:00, moderate use through the day and heavy use all evening and on 63% battery. Big batteries are the future.

    Philips Hue and Living colours

Keen to get some of this to work alongside my Google Home, keen to get the light strip to stick inn the back edges of the tv. Would I just need the light strips and a bridge? How easy it to set up and use?

True to form I’ve ignored the advice and gone for the Asus ZenFone4 Max, Same processor as the G5, but better battery and camera apparently but lower screen resolution. Not expecting to be super wowed but at £150 I’m hoping it’ll do the job. Just got to wait for it to turn up now.

    TV Aerial issue.

Ummm I’ve no idea what that last question means. There is another aerial point on the other side of the lounge and one in the master bedroom on the 2nd floor.

    TV Aerial issue.

So if I move the aerial to the dish location and change the face plate on the wall to a normal tv aerial plate it’ll work?

    TV Aerial issue.

Hi, Looking for some advice/options from the knowledgable on here. My house has a socket on the wall to mount a tv but it’s got only a satellite feed next to it. I don’t have sky so would like to get a digital tv aerial feed to the same point, the house has a tv aerial so just need the cable...

Seen you recommend this a few times, Is it good? Just thought the battery life and camera specs seemed impressive on the Asus. I’m rolling with an iPhone 5s still so I’m sure any newer phone will feel lightning quick compared to this.

Any input on the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max? Don’t want an expensive phone and seems pretty decent for the cost.
