Feel free! Tbh, before i got into it, it seemed "a bit much" but honestly, with the guides available, its fairly easy.
Being the person that does the initial investigation to write the guides? Nah, im good thanks ?
Re: screws, im a bit OCD, so tape them to whatever part/hole they come out of...
So this happened.

Back in 2008, a chap called "Booster4075" created a mammoth thread on how to retrofit CCC.
He then created a nice little PDF which i followed for the dash removal etc...
From my understanding, and having driven/owned pretty much every BMW produced in the past 30 years, the manual BMW gearbox has felt the same since about 1983. Probably before then as well. That's just how it is. Floor hinged pedals are the correct choice btw, perfect for heel & toe! Anything...
I did tell @MarkCup to try the e90 M3 that James Paul also had in stock, but he likes "boost" too much these days!
They even had one the same spec as my old one, so he'd still have bought a black car with red leather ?
@MarkCup they are pretty small cars i think. To compare, my friend ollie had a fiesta st when i had my M135i ...
Also compared to the e46:
On the flipside, how tiny is Sarah’s mk1 TT compared to more modern cars!! That beetle lol.
Mine was a manual ?
Needed a diff & decent suspension soooooo badly.
Will have another though, when they get to sub £12k and i realise i cant afford a F80 M3 lol
As mad as it sounds, i saw a chap on Saturday turn up for an MOT with a can of Stella in his hand and a parrot on his shoulder...
Has it got runflats on it Mark?
Get them swapped out for the SuperSport/MP4S if so ... will help a decent amount with grip. Especially with the LSD ?
Nice decision BTW, spec is epic, which id bought Jeff's now, could have been black/red M135i fwends ..
Yes, lots of options available if you have the double scoop screen to fit it all into. Will deffo do that first, then assess what i want to fit in "all the holes" ?
Re: the M135i ... I saw it for sale yesterday actually ... instantly thought "i recognise that car" ?
It doesnt actually look that hard (famous last words!), 5 bolts holding it in, but lots of ancillaries that need to come off. 3 hours work apparently ... ?
I want to fit OEM bluetooth, so considered just getting the unit that GrahamS has, but realistically speaking (unlike @Jeff simply), i hate...
No lol, have priced up all the other odds & sods i need to fit them though, top mounts, bushes etc etc, about £200 worth from BMW.
Useful info about the DAB, ill have to look into whether the BMW Diversity antenna is a must, or if aftermarket amplified will do instead. Bugger me about the...
Never one to stop buying things that i dont really need ... facelift climate control panel with the chrome knobs instead of black plastic ...

Minor change, but i think it ties in better with the rest of the dash, especially if...
@MarkCup will be interesting to see what you think of the RS3 when you drive it ... I'd be getting rid of the FRS now to be fair. Nothing worse than having a car that has to visit the main dealers all the time. Especially when they are 97% staffed by muppets. I know this all too well from buying...
Well, when you posted that, on August 5th, i was walking the Great Wall of China!!
But today i've been out for a drive, just prevaricating really, i should be working lol.

Realistically speaking, i need to consider selling it. Its only done 2k miles in it in...
Nah, Amazon. £540 instead of the usual £720 - what they are back up to now.
Came direct from Bilstein in Germany ?
I just spend far too much time on ebay, pistonheads & autotrader @Rob
Also have a habit of buying cars that i dont necessarily need, because they are a good deal, then ending up...
Fire away! What you want to know?
Nah, the 330i is staying for as long as i still have the Boxster ?
Do normal people actually use Scumtree these days? I thought it was just for Cat D cars & other household cr4p lol.
Nah, they were only £540!!! Hence why i bought them sharpish ?
Ah yes of course, i remember!! You worked at Eurotunnel from memory?
Bit of an update on the 330i after 6 months/4k miles or so. Day to day average (99% town usage) is now 26.9, with a couple of longer journeys to Cornwall/The North seeing a rather impressive 36.7mpg. Cant complain too much at...
Haha! Always good to drag back old posts ;)
True re the R32, the noise that thing made was incredible for a standard car. One of the very few cars that id own a second time i think.
Thanks!
Yep, that was me, off to see my mate in Church Crookham! Do you live around here somewhere then?
That's because they are cheap ? You have to remember that i've been unemployed since May (through choice), with probably no income likely until November/ December, so mods have to be a...
Couple of clean photos, ran out of time to edit the last post, doh!!

Such a nice colour when in the sun!
So, little update on the old 330i as i've been tinkering with it a little now ...
First things first, bluetooth. Anker Soundsync. £11.99

Haha, that's exactly what my friend did! I viewed it, he paid, i left it on my drive & his dad collected the next day ?
These two manuals have sold on ebay in the last few weeks:
£3.5k: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bmw-330i-e91-Manual-very-rear-estate-/263629584175
£3.8k...
