I've often thought the down turn exhaust probably doesn't help compared to a normal bumper exit/straight exhaust.

I am very invested in this. I'm looking for a non droney, not too loud, but still free flowing exhaust. I've a 182 manifold, sports cat and KTR resonated exhaust. I was considering the Piper but at the time, @cjgower put me off as you said it was loud when you fitted it.

Plenty more in my build thread. That's the Matterhorn in the distance. My gripes, exhaust was too droney and the I had a dead arse from the seat. Both of these things are my fault and not the Clio's.
