I don't know if I've lucked out with my seat selection or all you are just mard arses. I've got a Corbeau Clubsport XL and its extremely comfortable. It's on a standard sidemount subframe. I've got a Jon Foz subframe to fit but not got round to it. The Clio isn't my daily, BUT I have daily'd it...
...after some help please.
Looking at fitting a Brembo upgrade on my 2015 (65) 200T EDC. The OEM 18" wheel ET is ET55 and I need to run 20mm spacers to clear the kit.
I am looking to run some aftermarket 18" wheels (18" MSW 85) and would like to run without spacers.
What would be the best ET...
...them which is a bonus. I'll probably pick up some koni adjustables for the front to go with them too.
I've also bought some PMS stub axle spacers and 1° camber shims so I'll fit them all in one go once the move is out of the way.
Got a fire extinguisher to go under the passenger seat, not...
My 182 is lowered on Grams springs and I have ET37 wheels and 10mm spacers, giving an effective offset of 27mm and don't have any rubbing. I can't see an extra 2mm making much difference. Then again I'm missing half my arch liners at the front so I can't 100% guarantee there won't be any
...just getting round to posting)
Everyones seen a Clio with 2118s on but here's a photo incase you haven't. Needs lowering further and some spacers but that's a future project.
Clio also had it's MOT today which it passed 😁 got lucky tho as before the test I thought I best check the lights...
...rear suspension a touch today as it was sat a little too low for my liking. The wheels did need a little bit more poke so I bought some 5mm spacers. Slapped them on and with the car sat better in could refit the rear diffuser too.
Thats better and I do believe it's finally back in one...
...my 15’s doesn’t clear and would ideally need another 5mm or so for them to clear. Back of the wheel face plenty of clearance so don’t require spacers. Otherwise I’m stuck using my 16 cup turini’s. Which is fine for road but I prefer 15’s on track. Currently running calibre Suzukas (lame i...
Thanks. Saving it from being another breaker was definitely one of the goals. It was certainly not financially driven.
Maybe there is a better way but I couldn't find it. I was told also that even if I you managed to find some non-OEM glass the encapsulation that acts as a spacer from the body...
...standard to enjoy the Scottish roads.
A full suspension refresh (I’ve done the swivel joints 5 times now), b14 coilovers, pms stud/nut kit, spacers, wheel refurb and belts and fluids took money away from the Clio. But having the Meg to enjoy was worth it.
Paints terrible but at 140k the...
...forgive them.
Haven’t had chance to attack it yet and I’m sure the suspension is going to get in the way, so I settled for trying the 15mm spacers on. Because I’ve got little 6.5” wide 15” turinis they need a bit of help- looks so much better with the spacers. Guess I just added the unsprung...
...them and happy to finally have a set in my possession.
Need a good clean which will have to wait till after the trackday tomorrow but will be very soon.
I think they are ET 38 so suggestions on spacers for that offset would be appreciated. Don't really want to rub but would like to fill the...
I believe im running 20mm spacers with these.
Callipers need to get machined down slightly also.
No idea what is needed for the 2118s though, but i know its possible.
...fitment. I wanted to drop the wheel size to up the tire size a touch. This meant they were pushed out further. I've removed my 10mm rear axle spacers and to my surprise they clear the Brembos up front with no spacers.... bags of room! Need to get them on the scales but the 18s with tires look...
...+5mm spacer (ET33.5 equivalent) and ET45 Trophy Turini +20mm spacer (ET25 equivalent). Both with standard suspension. Trophy wheels with 20mm spacers rubbed sometimes with full lock and some compression. A 20mm+ drop in the suspension could've very much made this even more pronounced.
When...
How long is this bit of the hub on a 172/182? I've seen some hubcentric spacers which have all the correct diameters but I'm unsure if they'll actually fit as they're only 12mm thick 🤔
...got a mk2 Clio as my first car with a horrendous pair of steelies on right now. I should be getting a set of 182 alloys but was wondering what else I could do to help the fitment as the wheels are so narrow right now. What sort of spacers have any of you ran in the past or are they needed at all.
You'd need to space them out 10mm and the bores are only 11 deep so you could only do it with a big washer and then location is by the bolt and it's still sat on what's left ot the caliper mounting face.
Best thing to do is stick with 280 discs or sell the calipers and brackets and buy new for...
