In any legal battle you've got to give the person who has cocked it up the chance to put it right. You can't just ship it to someone else and then try to claim costs as far as I'm aware. If he's not interested in doing this at his expense then deserves all the flack he gets.

Looks a fairly tight bend radius. Also that could be the pierce point of the lasercutter on the bend so a bit of a stress raiser.
