I had a similar problem and it was caused by my router. I couldn't fix it, so took the router back and got a different model. The problem never came back.
Most has already been mentioned, but a caribener is pretty handy to have in your bag, or on a strap. It means that you can hook the bag onto a fence or something off wet ground if you don't fancy keeping it on your shoulder/ back during a shoot.
For people getting pissed off with rapidshare download speeds.. are you using the Rapidshare tool for downloading? I just tried the flashgot plugin in firefox and got my normal 8-10MB/s download per file, whereas the RS downloader was only allowing 1-1.5MB/s. It looks like their software is...
My favorite lens on a crop camera was the Sigma 30mm f1.4. It is entirely dependent on what you want to shoot most of the time though.

I was also wondering about that. No more than 1.5 mb/s on each download and it used to go upto 8-10 without a problem. Downloads taking more than 2 minutes FTL.
