This is because you are only allowed 1 bend on the front leg to msa regs, unless it has the extra supports like SD have done.

Agreed. MSA don't help either though. £800 cage, 12 months ago fitted, car 7 months finished build, 4 events inc international event and now I can't fecking compete in it again unless I strip the car out and replace the whole cage!! It certainly won't be another SD one.

Have a look for a local motor club and pop there, quite often people would love to have help on events. Britishrally.co.uk also has a section where people can offer services etc Sprints and hillclimbs is also something to look into to help out etc, not just race and rally

Had a chat with AA bloke and Transporters are uncomfortable and break down more often than others. Vivaro/trafic/primastar are good all rounders. Transits are most reliable apparently but crap on fuel etc. I currently have to sometimes drive a new shape Trafic and it drives very well, is nippy...

Fresh mot on it, 49k miles, nothing other than wear and tear on previous mot's. Low mileage between mot's so more likely a town car.

It will be bit of a reluctant sale but in all fairness I did build it knowing I would be selling it at some point after I had done the Manx. It would be nice to do some more events in it this year. We shall see. (Anyone want to advertise on a Clio stage rally car pm me lol)

I bought the engine from @Ph1 Tom on here, he built it. The matched inlets I got for 120 painted, and the map was 249

I just use a Bluetooth odb reader from ebay and the Torque app (android phone). Works well enough for me

I would love to do more rallies but I have ran out of cash at the moment. I will probably sell the car and do stuff with the kids instead (which was the plan before I built it) I would like to do Mull so if I keep it and find some money I will do that, other option is to sell it and hire mates...

Don't need a main dealer to plug it in, just someone local to you with a reader to get the codes. Someone on here will either have one or know of someone with one.
