Finally got round to fitting my splitter and Silvatec's from K-Tec (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=324945).
I'm very impressed with how they've transformed the look of the car (in my eyes anyway) and wish I'd done it in November when I killed the splitter :(
So here's a...
I've been a completed noob and managed to get some biro on my car. What's the best way to remove it. I've checked the paint and it's fine, no scratches etc.
cheers,
Matt
Was well chuffed when the postman knocked on this morning.
Looking forward to getting them fitted as the car has been 'splitterless' and in need of a little TLC for a while now.
Think the whole interior, from the dash to the centre console and the seats look fantastic.
Much better than any Clio interior.
LOL at all the people who say it'll PROBABLY have terrible torque steer because the Astra VXR APPARENLY does, yet have never driven either. Typical CS :(
Never understood Newsgroups, and it still seems complicated from Girff's run through.
I use isohunt and have done for a while, guess that will be next to go?
How does everybody who is 55-60mm lower find the ground clearance?
I'm thinking of going that low on my 182 and am worried about multi stories, the dip in the road getting off the local petrol station and even the getting on to the ramps come MOT time?
Do you find that you generally struggle with your car as low as it is?
Are multi storey car parks a no no, or how about getting your on a trailer if it needed to be recovered for example? I've have quite a steep drive way and wonder if my car would go up it if lowered?
Did you have to leave your car there for the day or however long it took, or did you have a spare set of wheels to put on your car while they did the refurb?
