No student discount on iPods anymore, hasn't been for about a year now

Haha, it should work really, leave it plugged into the zapper tonight and try in the morning

Which iPod is it?

That is very impressive!! Respects to him!!

I have an 8900, have had it about a month or two now and no quibbles to be honest apart from battery life and how easily the chrome scratches, other than that it is all good, prefer it to the BOLD with the leather back :P

Not compatible with .doc though, Office Mac is quite good But surely there would have been no harm in putting a firewire and HDMI on the machine, most 200 pound netbooks have it :D Why doesnt a £1000+ lappy? I wasnt on about torrent really, different clients

Anyone know how to make it so the search bar searches for google uk not america! What a pain!!

True but, I think it is unfair to pay so much for a Laptop then have to have 2 separate wires, one for sound, one for video, I am really gutted about not having HDMI on my mac book, I feel like I have been scammed

Mac download clients aren't as good as windows, similarly gaming on the PC is still by far the way to go no matter what people say.

I have a MacBook as well as a Vista desktop and I really couldn't imagine not having access to a Windows computer however much I love Macs. I would probably go for an iMac and dual boot it, especially over a Mac Mini

Didnt read about the beeps, if the memory is faulty it will be good because it is a cheap fix :D

Just try putting in the windows disc and telling it to repair, that should fix it up. You're using XP I guess?

If you can, hook it up to an external monitor, if it does the same through the monitor, then it is the grahpics card. If it doesnt then it is your screen ribbon or your screen panel Also install everest home edition, and post a few details and temperatures for me if possible

Anyway, just spoken to the owner that had it when it was crashed, and it had had a blow out.
