hi not sure if this is in the right section or not so feel free to move it,
but basically i need to find out if the 182 has a gasket between the manifold and the cat, as want to put a decat on, if it does does anyone have the part number as renault dont think it has one, cheers guys,
lovely pics guys, looked like i missed a good meet, oo well next time soon hopefully, my car is filthy atm tho guys so would have let you all down lol it will be clean wednesday haha
or you could always go to the local garage and ask if they have any old exhaust pipe you can pinch, if they have one that is either bigger or smaller (depending what size you need) cut a really long bit off, and then just cut slashes in it long ways about 5cm long to allow the end to bend on...
same happened with me tbf, i wanted a black gold, around 30k mileage, 182 with both cup packs and around £7000, and lucky for that is what i got just before my insurance ran out as well
again check that the bulb is sitting in its unit properly, as when i changed one of my bulbs on the old car, i didnt put it in right and it was a precautionary on my mot, because it was sitting too high
agreed with the above comments, complete jealousy, whatever you do though if you catch them in the act dont shout at them, just walk up to them and smack them round the back of the head as hard as poss. will put them on the floor then kick the living shite out of the scumbags
my 1.2 16v didnt have a single problem with it untill the end, when there was a problem with the ecu but i spoke to rentec and they said it would cost 250 to repair, so if i had of got it done it would have only cost me 400 tops in the 3 years and 25000 miles i drove it
yer you 1.4 guys with right low mileage sound like there is something wrong with your cars, my 182 brings back 34mpg and thats with booting it more than driving sensibly, i used to get 40's in my 1.2 when i drove sensibly and the 38 when hammering it
totally agree with this man, i went from a 1.2 to a 182, mainly due to needing the bigger engine, but i still loved my first clio when i had it, but go and drive a 172 and see what you think mate, if you feel that you have moved from a clio look at others, plenty about
yer was on a 1.2 but defo wernt the ecu cover, we checked, double checked, wrapped up and everything on that, we thought it was to start with as we mucked about with it and seemed to stop it but then came back so just wanted to get rid in the end
