I had the same problem, went to test drive the car, drove perfect no problems. Picked it up and it had a slight knock happening high up in the revs and going round left hand corners, thought it would just be an engine mount. Changed the gearbox top mount, which was worn, this made no difference...

Had a washing machine in the pink bus before, amazed it fitted.

mmm..... Starting to wonder if the one i had a play with had a re-map or something then, he had alot more power when we got close to three figures. Or maybe its the usual cliosport chat, clio's are the fastest cars on the road??

I had a play with an st3(?) bright orange thing, seemed ok till 80 then he clearly had a fair bit more power, that was in the old pink bus 193bhp, which was quicker than any cup i ever came accross.

People from the east of scotland are normal, its the boys from the west you have to watch out for....

You can get ph2 gearboxes with the mechanical drive for the speedo, think it was the early 172's that had them. I have 2 other phs2 gearbox casings with the speedo drive sitting at ali's house if you need them.

S3's do appeal but my mate has one and dont want to have the same cars, i do like TT's though. EK9's dont do anything for me, they look crap and i think vtec is pish!
