LAD conversion 172mk2
Had my car back a week following engine conversion at LAD. Must say i am really pleased with it. Took some in gear times just with a stopwatch on the speedo and seems to be a fair bit quicker than a standard cup and the engine is likely to be still quite tight with only 1200 miles on it...- GregMcN

172 mk2 optimum gear change and alarm
Have just purchased new clio 172 as import and a couple of things have me puzzled - gear change indicator and alarm as neither get a mention in the handbook but thought were part of spec. Where is the gear change indicator? Do you have to do anything to get it to work? How do you tell if the car...- GregMcN
