    I've got a early ph2 172 non cup. Bought just a couple of weeks ago. Got it up on a ramp and found one wishbone was bent so replaced the pair and ball joints-did the tracking.     Wishbones...cup...part numbers.

    I have just bought a pair of genuine wishbones for £109 the pair. Managed to get cup ones with more castor. The part numbers are: 82 00 257 956 and 82 00 257 957 cup wishbones/lower arm and ball joints. My 172 is a non cup model so hope I don't have any problems fitting them this weekend.

    Difference between wishbones not cup/cup 172

    Does anybody know what's the difference between non cup wishbones and cup wishbones? Also would cup wishbones fit a not cup model and is it worth doing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
