    Select first gear

    My 172 cup has only got 625 miles (3 weeks old). When selecting first gear it makes clunking noise. Is it possible that the gear box mountings are needing replaced.

    Brake Compensater

    Could anyone tell me if there is a spring from the Rear brake Compensater (Brake Sencor ) to the Axle on a 53 plate Clio cup 172.

    First gear

    When i put the car into First gear it sometimes bangs as if the clutch is not full down. (The clutch is fully down). garage checked out car and had to replace the gear oil as they said it was burent. The car is still doing it but not all the time. Could someone please advise.

    Brakes

    Could someone please check there 172 cup and let me know if there is a spring from the Axel to the rear brake compensater. On the one I have there is not and ever time I release the brake pedel it bangs.
