So.. I bought the cheapest 2ZZ on the market a few months ago. It’s been with my mate having some bits sorted but picked it up yesterday. It’s a bit rough around the edges but goes well enough..
Just need some facelift wheels and a few nic naks . Shame I’ve missed the summer.
Yes, she was a new driver. The car was parked on a side street whilst I was away for a few days and came back to a note with her phone number and an apology. She apologised a number of times via text message and reported it to her insurer straight away 👍
I’ve had three Superchargers, I’m not aware of any fuel tank issues..
I bought the first one in 2004, sold it and then bought it back. It’s currently in my storage unit but not looking quite a shiny!
I am surprised as they are strong engines. It’s the high revving characteristics of the 2ZZ that I am after. I’ve have owned three Corolla T Sports and the kick from the high lift cam is quite addictive albeit the engine is a bit flat all the way up to 6200rpm. I think it will be very well...
I like what Stav has done there but I think I’ll be happy with the NA 2ZZ option . My mk1 is silly power and as much as I love it, it’s less practical / drivable and sometimes down right scary 😬
Here’s one of my Mk1’s
Here’s a Mk2 which I bought courtesy of the BBC to be modified for a TV show a couple of years back
My old grey wide arch Mk1 with a MK2 Mr2 turbo engine. Rust got the better of it unfortunately
I’ve always loved MR2s. I’ve had quite a few, maybe around 20 and all Mk1’s apart from a couple of Mk2s which I didn’t get along with. I still own two Mk1’s, one is retro fitted with a Celica GT4 engine running around 400bhp but hasn’t been on the road for 3 years now due to a number of...
Hiya,
I need some vehicle skates for my storage business for use on a concrete floor. It’s not the smoothest of surface but not horrendous.
Does anyone have any recommendations of what to buy and where from?
Thanks
Mk2 Uno Turbo, in Jersey. Mint with 34k on the clock. I’ve had four of these and miss them greatly, I regularly dream about them aha. Photos courtesy of my old man
So that’s 1000 miles done in the Punto.. The only issues I’ve had are the sunroof seal dropped out on my head and I’ve had to have the exhaust back box tweaked slightly as it was catching on one of the rear springs.
I was reminded it’s not the fastest thing in the world by a modern BMW which...
I'm on Turbo Collective (Facebook only now) which is a very long running Uno Turbo resource/community. Everything I need is there to be fair.
I'm tempted to give this one a bit more boost :)
They're fairly reliable, the engines are strong... one of my Old Uno Turbos had 150K on the clck and was running over a bar of boost through a T25. It went well!
I was constantly popping drive shafts.. and the rings went it one but they really could take an awful lot of abuse.
Here’s my little Punto Gt, it’s a recent acquisition I bought it blind and I had to send my transporter guy to pick it up from the other end of the country because it was the day after lockdown. I was able to get comprehensive walk around (and underneath!) videos before committing. Thankfully...
Hey all,
I was a previously the online marketing/car club rep for a Cliosport (I nsurance) trader but have moved on to pastures new. This is going to sound a bit sad but I enjoyed the time I spent on the ClioSport forum board so, I'm back!
I'm afraid I have never owned a Clio and have no...
