Only thing I can think of is either snapped spring or broken shock but its been through an MOT and a service and the scrubbing was there before them....... wouldn't be something id of thought they would have missed in all honesty.
The car is lowered on cooksport springs. Firstly the drivers side seems to scrub on cornering hard, it didn't use to be as bad but now doing it all the time, I have also noticed that it sits closer to the arch than passenger side, any ideas ?
Nothing major just exhaust had to be replaced as it was a standard one, rusted to high heaven. Had to re do the belts etc as the dephaser was making a bad noise after 6 months of ownership (wasn't replaced on the previous belts) so that wasn't ideal but got the water pump and power steering pump...
One thing I will say though is budget for the 182 to go wrong, They are old and french something will defiantly go wrong with it, of course thats my opinion but they are knocking on a bit and I've had what you would call a troubled year of motoring.
Where about are you located? Plenty of bargains to be had depending on your budget.
The splitter can be bought directly from renault for £150 odd or you can buy a carbon fibre one from ktec online for £120 or you can buy a skoda fabia one for £12 or something and fit that. Loads of threads...
Just found this on eBay
