Evening all,
I'll cut to the point, seems like head gasket. Please tell me I'm wrong.
182 randomly started a slight misfire, but this was intermittent. A few days later it began overheating. Topped up coolant and water and it seemed ok, but found myself topping up again in a few days, maybe a...
Only once or twice got the "that's nice" then yesterday when I was on the drive an older chap walking passed with his dog stopped for a chat. Often see him driving round in a new Fiesta ST. Before leaving he said "I know they're good cars, but I wouldn't have one just because they're French" to...
There previous documented change is at 72k, the car is now on 79k. It wasn't however carried out by a specialist which at the time I didn't know it should have been. Live and learn and all that.
Mick, I've just been on your site this morning but you're rather far from me unfortunately.
Is it the aux belt kit I need? Birchdown offering Renault timing belt kit with Renault auxiliary belt kit including cam seals £459.00... Isn't this it or am I missing something..? Thanks
Pretty annoyed about it actually as I bought the car under the impression it didn't need doing.. At the time I wasn't aware it only made the noise when up to temp as it doesn't do it when cold so when buying I thought it was fine. Chalk it down to experience I guess, but who has £600 going...

I recorded the noise earlier today but not sure what's causing it.. I know there's a million and 1 threads about this but I'm still not sure. It's only does it when it's up to temp.
Here it is:
Thanks in advance!
Evening all,
Went to get some hankook evo v12s fitted tonight only to realise I don't have the sodding locking nut key.
I've got my code, it's: FER19185
If anyone out there has a spare that I could buy off them (cheaply please) that would be great!?
Thanking kindly
I'm off on holiday with the other half a few days after and it's the last day we've got off work before we go so can't make it this time unfortunately.
I've got a 182 and live near Holywell.. I don't know anyone around who has one though. There's a 197 down the road but don't know the guy at all unfortunately. Seen the odd 182 around, a BG the other day and a RB a few weeks ago but that's about it. Only seen them once each so they may not even...
