Crap.. I am gutted if this is a major job. If I buy a new engine from a scrap yard will I need to do anything with DVLA? The same size engine would be in there, or would I need to declare a conversion of the same engine?

Water was thrown on top of the engine yes, not alot only small amounts at a time.
