Hi Cub, Yes it does have a PMS shifter, and no its not been slammed into gear by a baffoon, only me!! Cant you take the end casing off to get at 5th gear like you could with my old Peugeot BE3 box? (sorry new to Renaults)

Thanks Dan, as I said the box rebuild and gripper was paid by the previous owner, I haven’t contacted the builder yet, but can do as he is on here!😂

Hi guys, My car has developed a crunch when going into 5th (3rd and 4th ar fine), if I change really slowly I can select 5th without crunching. The gearbox was rebuilt last year by a specialist (previous owner) and it’s covered about 500miles since. Any ideas what it could be, is it a box out...
