Once the new seat has been fitted (not sure about the pretensioner) you should be able reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery negative lead for 20 mins or so. If everything is connected up properly, in theory the airbag light shouldn't come back on... But I'd wait for someone with first hand...

So, one of plastic rivets has popped out from the top of my front grill (mk2 ph2) causing the bonnet catch spring to get caught on the grill when I open the bonnet. The whole grill has moved back towards the engine bay & won't push into place. I need to remove the grill & replace it.. but...

Probably just a cracked knock sensor! Bet you'd have got at least another 100k out of an Imp single turbo (if it was an ej20) ;)
