Never heard of that method, is it still good to drive while it's got the water and dishwasher tablet in?
Oh of course, only the finest.
Oh crikey, I suppose that's the way to do it for a thorough clear out though.
When you say 4 fills and empties do you mean you just filled the tank up and let it drain from the rad bottom hose 4 times until it was running through clear?
Need to do a coolant change on the 182 soon, but just wondering if it's essential to flush the system through with water as I don't have access to a garden hose where I'm currently living.
Would you get away with just pouring a jug or two of water into the expansion tank after taking the hose...
One of the best mods you can do to a non-sport is a 172 rear bumper in my opinion, totally changes the rear end. I'd also look at colour coding the mouldings and a 40/50mm drop and you've got yourself a smart little daily!
If you want to go lower on the rear you can either get custom springs made or get proper rear coilovers which replace the shock and pigtail spring setup, did it with my old mk2.

Saw this on the back of a trailer this evening, didn't have a number plate on but had a big yellow 90 on the rear drivers window. Wasn't in my car so you wouldn't have seen me. Anyone on here?
In two minds! Currently have 15" Speedline 2118's fitted to me AB 182, but have just seen some beautiful Rota Grids for sale which I have always had a soft spot for. What's everyone's opinion? I love both but can't quite make up my mind.
Hi guys, recently have noticed a few things with my 2005 182.
Firstly there is a slight clicking noise when I brake lightly during stop start traffic, it doesn't happen all the time it's quite intermittent. I notice it the first time I brake in reverse as well or the first time I brake in 1st...
So I've had the 182 about six months now, after previously owning a little low n' slow 1.2 Clio, and it's fair to say that quite a few things have changed in that time so I decided to make a thread to show how it's coming along. The car had already been upgraded a fair bit before I bought it...
