I've havent got my scanner thingy with me at the moment (working away) so can't see till the weekend if it is the map sensor I presume the reading won't register at all or will fluctuate like mad?
Well he said it could be one of a few things, because by unplugging the map sensor it's making the ecu go into default settings. It was just to make sure it wasn't the coil pack, HT leads or the spark plugs. So I ask again, will it be the map sensor that's faulty or is it likely to be something...

Soooo... A friend of mine just said disconnect the MAP sensor (the one on the left of the intake pas your looking at it) and see if it runs any better. It ran perfect, so does this mean the map sensor need replacing?
