As title, I have had the engine replaced after my fellow owner (and just about still friend) blew the clutch/engine my changing from 5th to 1st whilst on a track day. Replacement engine sourced from Tim Finch, fitted and running well. Next track day gearbox (again a replacement from 172 cup)...

Just need a new bottom end and I'll be back, was going OK, but my 'friend' who changed from 5th to 1st last track day my have had something to do with this failure!

Sadly wasn't the tyres that let me down, It was the lump of crank that flew through the bottom end! Genuine question..... anyone got a decent 172 engine for sale? Ideally near Surrey?

When you say cheap/on offer, where do people get these bargains from, other than ebay I've struggled to find slick/semi slicks for my little track toy.
