I did mine without. The smaller end is harder but I used a house brick with the holes in and just belted it with a hammer until it came out [emoji106]

That's my thoughts, I do believe it's either the injectors or timing.

Thanks for all you replies :) when I first went to look at the car I don't remember it ticking. But when I fetched it I noticed it. The bloke that sold me the car did the belts ect

Just wondering if anybody knows what this ticking could be. The cars just had the belts done and dephaser. The ticking gets louder when you Rev it too. I think the noise is coming from the injectors but I can't be sure. Thanks :)

Ahh I see that's good then. Because the nearest petrol station that does v power nitro is quite out of my way.

I'm very surprised at the mpg of the 182!!! Although I didn't realise it was recommended to run them on 98RON! totally missed the huge sticker on the filler cap haha

I got hold of some springs and fitted them yesterday :) just need a KTR now but il get one next pay day [emoji4]

Got any pictures? I I must say I don't miss my 197 apart from the looks.. The 182 feels so much more fun.

So after using the car quite a bit over the weekend I've come to the conclusion that I prefer it to the 197... And it feels quicker [emoji51] just need to got it dropped a little as the standard arch gap is pants.

To be fair I haven't really driven it a lot to make a decision. It does feel very different... But il let you know :)
