Sorry to hear that but good to hear it's getting sorted. Also had to have the manifold replaced on mine, had seized on apparently. Only had 6 months with the 220 Trophy I had, deceptively capable pieces of kit.
Prices are very high relative to where they were. Used car prices will come back down but suspect I used Renaultsport prices will hold fairly firm, seem to have more appreciation nowadays and the company is now defunct.
I've actually seen that quite a few times. Was that Renault using old stock sometimes or the owners swapping it?
Looks better than the 200 interior imo.
It's a good price but doesn't look that tidy to me. Notice the drivers door looks to have sagged plus the front and rear bumpers have some marks on them. Not trying to be negative, just know what it's like from past experience when you get your hopes up over a car you really want. No harm in...
Love the AG colour. Higher mileage but if your paying less than a lower mileage example you can budget for new tyres (appears to have budgets on), brakes, ball joints (if needed) etc. Also it has Bluetooth which not all have. Not sure re seats, presume they were a factory option.
Totally get what you're saying. Obviously a 172/182 is more on the edge and weighs quite a lot less. A 200 to a Meg is a much closer comparison though. Thie high revving n/a was the only thing I missed in my 200 compared to my Meg. The way the Meg felt in all other aspects was just fantastic...
I loved my 200 even though it was lacking a bit of grunt. If you're looking to spend 10k on one you definitely want one with low mileage, recaros and speedlines. If you're struggling to find a good spec with the right bits I'd actually get a Mk3 Meg 250 for that money, special cars.
Visiting my Dad near Horsham and needed to get her tracking done on the Civic. Parked next to lovely 200 cup with Recaros and a nice stance. Anyone on here?
Sold the Trophy on to take advantage of the crazy second hand car market. Carless for now (still have her diesel Civic for day to day s**t) plus I cycle to work. Hopefully used prices will come down next year and I'll see what takes my fancy.
The Trophy was a great car but a long way off the...
Renault are fully covering this under warranty, so they should! F**k knows when the new turbo will arrive though?
Renault use Enterprise for their courtesy cars, got a pretty much like for like replacement!
Sorry mate, didn't really have the opportunity as I could only hear the noise when moving. It was quite a high pitch whistle over 2k rpm when accelerating at any level, would go away once off the accelerator and wasn't apparent when idling. Quite disappointing tbh! Hopefully I've just been...
