Had the same last Christmas on my old RT. Thought it must have been ice but the car felt awful on the motorway. When I checked one of my rears was out! :o
Oversteered into the kerb head on then swung round and landed the back end on the pavement.
Damage: New (standard and thus higher) rear axle, rear alloy, front bumper. :(
IMHO I think that the panel filter is supposed to give you better low end performance but modding the air box with the cold air feed is supoposed to help get back the higher revs power that you would get from an open air filter........... I think

Ive only been as a spectator when I went last year in my 1.4 RT but now Im looking forward to unleashing my 2L Valver and seeing how well I measure up!

Only had my car a week and yesterday, when I went to start it, nothing happened. Phoned the previous owner and asked if he knew what the problem might be and he said that it had happened a couple of times to him. He said that if i turned the key all the way and held it there for about 10 - 12...
Just picked up a Willyfied Valver that needs a new gearbox and Im considering my options......
Would it be worth the money to buy a recond one or look for a decent second hand one? Has anyone priced up the various options recently or been in the same situation?
