It's like the rears are connected to same outputs as the tweeters or something. Maybe the output for my rears is just bad. Head unit is 20 years old now TBF.

I got JBL stage 2 524 speakers. Very good sound. Managed to get for 27 squid Amazon warehouse offer.

Crank position sensor on top of gearbox was an issue for me a couple of times. Bolts only became the tiniest bit loose and it wouldn't start. Then when engine cooled off it did. I also had an earth strap issue on another Clio.

I sent those Gaz mounts back, didn't even try fitting em. Just fitted some rubber rings under top mount caps, removes all that slack. Haven't driven car yet though...

I've got one of those little magic boxes with aux input that tricks the standard head unit into thinking there's a cd changer attached. Can't get more OEM than that. A nice Blaupunkt would sound better however. Go full chav and get a Sony Xplode.

I managed to use standard Clio ones. Didn't quite fit but I made it work. Better than all the crud getting thrown onto engine belts like before.

I think last owner may have had an aftermarket air filter fitted at one point. It's always had standard air box with a ktec mesh filter since I've owned it. I won't worry about it then. Cheers for advice boy's. Maybe when I get the slag running right I'll go to the clio meet up next year...

What is the acoustic valve? Just reading online, some people say it's the map sensor or throttle body on engine intake.
