So we’ve had quite a good result with our lease GTi today. We are coming to the end (start of January) of a 24 mth 20k deal and currently pay £141 per month (we’re on just under 19k at the minute). We asked VW if it was possible to keep it for another 12 mths and another 10k and today they came...
My wife’s GTi is due to go back at the start of January, spoke to VW financial services earlier this week and they are sorting us a quote to keep it for a further 12mths (fingers crossed it’s similar to what we currently pay)
I have a similar problem, slight impact and airbag ecu is now showing as locked. I’ve taken it out and it’s been to a specialist ecu testers and they are unable to reset it. Can I just source a second hand airbag ecu plug it in and job done? My current airbag ecu has a part number of 8200277316...
It’s always worth a bit of a google search but I normally find them cheaper on most things, there are the odd bits that you can find at a similar price over here. I tend to email Tina at Panamoz direct and she always tries to knock me a bit more cash off as I’ve dealt with them a fair bit over...
If I didn’t use my kit for work I’d run with an iPhone 8+ (or iPhone X) and a Fuji XT20.
Trust me I have a lot of kit (I spent over 12k last year alone) and I still use my iPhone for 99% of all holiday/family shots.
Yeah I got it powder coated it arrived bare metal as per pic. If you ring Alan (think his number is on eBay) tell him you’re a Cliosport member and he’ll do it a bit cheaper than eBay buy it now eBay price.
it’ll be perfect for your trip @Luke, look forward to seeing the results.
I took my x100 on honeymoon in 2012 and was really impressed with it. I really need to dig it out of the cupboard, I don’t think it’s been turned on for about 3yrs...
Fitting kit is £20 extra (comes with four spreader plates and all the nuts and bolts you need). Was really easy to fit, you have to take the front seats out but I replaced these at the same time anyway so wasn’t an issue. I used a ratchet strap to pull the two sides of the cage together ever so...
It’s all original matey, it needs a full machine polish really when I get time. It had a snow foam yesterday followed by a wash and then just a quick spray and wipe over with some autoglym aquawax
It’s just a £200 Alan Dent cage (alachi on eBay). I’m really pleased with it, got it powder coated graphite (£40) and was a piece of cake to fit. Really looking forward to getting the PMS shifter, keep hearing great things about it.
I fitted the 1.2’s today, and while they look nice I miss the...
Moved it, cleaned it, put it back. Anthracite Pro Race 1.2’s going on tomorrow and then the PMS shifter once the group buys goes through. Really need to put some miles on it then, it’s done less than 75 miles since November!
The Fuji X range are great, I’ve got a x100 and had (and then sold) a XT2. The XT20 is cracking for the money and would be my pick as a travel/family camera. Get spare batteries, they eat through them. Try Panamoz for price can’t recommend them enough.
I'm not expecting replacement seats or money off, more to bring it to their attention really. I'm sure its an easy fix with some T-cut and elbow grease but would just make sense for them to have a final check over their end before delivery I'd have thought.
They are great seats, be interested to see the finish on yours when you get them, mine are a little rough around the edges but I suppose they are a budget seat.
