Starting to struggle for things to do to the lil' smurf as of now... I start uni in two weeks so that's where all my money will be going; unfortunately... Any suggestions??
BEHOLD THE 1200cc FURY!
So after 9 years of being on the road; 6 of which have been driven by my family and myself. I thought an engine clean was in order. Spent the best part of a couple hours doing this today, as 125,000 miles without a decrease seems a bit excessive. Also, ignore the...
£50 later on a new Lambda Sensor, and socket. The problem seems to have fixed its self. I also bought new ignition coils and leads, although got sent the ones for the standard 2008 clio. Joys of having a campus, so they don't fit. All is looking good for now though :D
I read suede and thought, 'oh god. here we go...' but to be honest mate I'm with you on this one, I kinda like it! certainly, makes it stand out from the rest - mine included ;)
Cheers dude. Will keep you posted. Ordered both the ignition pack and coils, and the o2 sensor. Will have to pop to halfrauds to get the socket but should be fixed today or tomorrow!
So diagnostics is over. They couldn't pin point the problem as it wasn't showing an engine code, resulting in them not charging me due to not being able to find a specific problem, BONUS! The guy said it could be the fuel injector pack or the o2 sensor. So i shall replace both of these, and...
That's exactly what mine is doing... Currently in kwikfit having it hooked up... £35 later hopefully i'll know the issue.. Only problem that i can think they'll have is the engine light didn't stay on after i restrarted the car... It stayed off?
Hi guys, just wondering if someone out there might be able to shine some light on a situation for me. Was driving up to my girlfriends last night, about a 40-mile drive, and half way my car started to judder. Losing all power I pulled into a lay by of the a14... Long story short, its been losing...
Na, don't wanna put it back to standard at all ;) But i drive it like a teenager anyway... so there's that... I would love a 182 or cup, but the insurance is so DAMN EXPENSIVE
So as said the other day, new wheels are here... Completely transforms the look of the car... Looks like a proper little hot hatch when it's on the road.
I may be being blonde, which is a high possibility... But I was thinking of getting these for my Clio... From what I can tell, they only change the look of the reflector, am I right? Or am I missing something...
i'll definitely have to keep an eye out for them then... seen some bumpers on eBay for around the £100 mark... So ill have to keep an eye out for them if they're being broken... Cheers dude
Sports bumper is something that I'm definitely looking into. Its not the buying it that's going to be the costly part. Respraying it my colour, as they don't make one in "royal blue" is going to be the expensive part. I could try and do it myself, which I'm pretty confident in doing; although I...
That i can agree with... They are slow, but once you hop on the B roads, and get the speed up to "60" if you've got the handling right, you'll leave most cars behind... at least that's what i've found... They're so much fun...
Clios are a great first choice, in my opinion, had mine for a year and a half now. Has taken an ass whooping every day since then. Besides when the girlfriend is in the car, as she gets a little nervous ;) But I agree with PP172... Lowering your car will absolutely transform the handling. I went...
Thanks dude! Definitely looking at getting a 182 bumper for the front, love the look of it from head on. But i agree with the rear, i much prefer the smoothed boot, and plate in the bumper...
Tbh mate i haven't even looked at other grilles since I got this one. Saw a 197 yesterday with the vent grills, and i can see why you like them. But they're not for me...
So, two years after getting the Clio for my 17th birthday, quite a lot has changed. I'll do my best to post pictures as I go. But for now, ill only be covering the basics of what I have been up to. I only have one picture of my car before it was in my possession, so enjoy it! I also want to say...
New to this all... so apologies in advanced if i put anything in the wrong place, no pun intended ;)
Looking to colour code the black trim pieces of my Clio, does anyone know what colour it would be? The label has rubbed off. :(
Included some pictures to help..
