Ahh ok. In that case you should get in touch with Ktec and source replacement top nuts. They're sleeved to maintain the concentricity of the damper rod to the bearing.

Surely with the K-tec mounts you bolt directly onto the bearing with the replacement sleeved nut, and bolt the mount to the strut tower, thus negating the need for the standard top hat?

Ok mate no problem, I can take one off of mine and measure up if needs be. I'll be able to make these cheaper than that :up:

Standard top nut is M14x1.5. Hex size on the nut is 21mm. Assuming you're referring to the 'top hat' retainer that sits on top of the strut tower.

So it still works with the original steering angle sensor? I've just bought a cheapy boss from an ebay seller and it's a total piece of s**t. Bought a Momo boss from Demon Tweeks now instead.

Are you using the OMP boss? Is it a straight swap from the original steering wheel?

Yarp make your own if you've got the tools to do so. I made myself a nice corner bench with one shelf underneath and a gap for a filing cabinet full of tools. Also has a pillar drill, vice and grinder mounted to it.
