The rev limit has not been changed, could have got it set at 8k but would not risk it. The starter motor gave up this morning:( Have it booked in renault for warranty to sort this. Lets hope nothing else goes wrong with it. The S/Chip was done in N.Ireland.

sorry to hear that mate, it could well have been faulty equipment, generally with rolling roads they will only do it twice with about 15 mins in between each run, no matter how big the fan is infront of the rr you dont get the same cold airflow round your engine and the way 16v/williams engines...

im a bit annoyed hearing all these great mpgs. i drive a valver with full system and air filter and would average around 260 miles to a full tank (£30-£35)

seemed the same for the valver when i put in elf engine oil it seemed to run a lot better

how ya alll doing, recently my 16v has been reading really high oil pressure when cold it reads 6 bar when you hit about 2000 revs and ideas, changed the oil but no luck
