    Slicks 210/575/15 vs 200/580/15(190/57/15)

What width wheels do you use? 210/575/15 is wide, you'll need a 9" rim Most use a 180/58 on a 7" rim. This link might help you - https://www.avontyres.com/en-gb/tyres/radial-slick Here's a picture of my 200/58 on 8" rims.

    AST questions

I run AST on the front although with Laguna hubs and some other mods so I can't tell you the difference to caster on there own. I'm pretty confident you would have enough adjustment to go max caster and still exceed your desired camber. I really don't get why people fit these mounts and then...

Rear discs for a track day car?

I checked at the start of the week, they were showing out of stock. And listed a more expensive alternative. Checked again yesterday and two showing in stock, so I snapped them up. I'm sure more will come into stock.

    Evo Corse X3MA 15's - Anyone fitted?

Such a nice wheel, light too. I have a set for my wets/road tyres. I wish I'd also got a set of 8" for track. Like the one below with a bit of dish.

Rear discs for a track day car?

Yeah new spacers, I always keep a spare disc kitted up with bearing and studs in my track day kit now. I did consider the PMS upgrade, but with them being cheap (still thanks to the link) and easy to change I just keep an eye on them. I have bought a SKF bearing to replace my recently failed...

Rear discs for a track day car?

Thanks for the link. I checked last week and they were around £100 each. Checked and ordered today for £49. 4th set in 6years, the bearing failed every time.

At least 15 clios at Oulton today!

I'll keep an eye out for you. It looked like they were both having alot of fun before it happened. Unfortunate there's not much run off there, but at least he was okay and in good spirits.

Yeah that's the one, thanks 😊. I was with a silver 172 that caught the flamer crash. 😥

    K20 powered 172

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

I've used Windows 10 fine. When you plug the USB in and out does it recognise the new hardware and give you the option of installing drivers etc. Can you view the USB in device manager, maybe as an unknown device rather than a serial adaptor.

Super Lightweight Lithium Battery - My experience of it so far

I'm running epas with mine. I'm using a Exide ETL-20h well under 1kg. I've even accidentally ran it flat, and it's been spot on.

    Project Lightweight, Trackday Clio 172

Great progress. Any downsides with the cup racer style engine mounts? I have a Job list of ideas to improve and save weight on my own track car. You seem to do these before I get chance, or do others that I then add to my list. I find your build thread very useful :) The alternator looks very...

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

That sounds exactly the same as mine. Did you have any luck in the end? I had initially used lambda 1 to power the wideband controller. I wondered if it failed the input as effectively the heater element resistance would be wrong. So I set/wired the lambda 1 as it should be with a new Bosch...

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

I still haven't got the closed loop lambda control working correctly, it's very odd. It's like the ECU is putting the sensor in error, it works initially then the feedback channels freeze at a value and it no longer works. I've had the car setup by Chris at EFIParts, he was very very helpful...

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

I managed to get a reply from Ktec about upgrading the firmware from 00x71. This was there response: "71 is one off the later versions off the software with no real changes since then. It isn't as simple as just an update as the map is written into the version of the software." I'm still...

I have made a Version 2 ecu pinout. I'll keep updating with any information found. Added cam sensor, boost solenoid control, and added the wideband info from above (I have put questions marks on this until proven) Please find attached

interesting the pinout I have does match your wideband pinout, only with less information. I can't see the files you attached. Have you got the software set to wideband?

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

I use a wideband controller with a 0-5v output calibrated into a spare channel. It is interesting there are few pins labelled up wideband on the pinout. And the option to select wideband in the software, but I couldn't find any other info. On a separate subject does anyone know the...

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

Painful hahah. To be honest I don't have any road car stuff to compare it to. I suppose it's okay. I've been setting the channels up in the gentuner software, saving and exporting into GEMS data analysis software. Maybe better software to use, I'll have to look into it. The resolution of some...
