I have a problem with engine temp gauge dropping randomly on my 182. I think this is a common problem with the 182 and I have had it fixed twice already. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem successfully fixed and could recommend a garage, or tell me what the garage did to fix it...

Ive got a problem with the gauge dropping to cold instead of sticking to the middle. Accelerating hard seems to initiate the problem but other then that theres no pattern. The needle will drop, sometimes to the bottom but sometimes only slightly, and then will rise again sometimes to the correct...

When acclerating hard I get clouds of quite thick white steam? coming out of the exhausts, often too thick to see through properly. Anyone else get this? Still happens when the car has been running for a while, so i dont think its to do with the choke. Car is 3 months old, 2500 miles.
