Hi folks, I've got a breather pipe split on my 1.5DCi split on me... causing stalling type issues. I've gaffered it up for now but the stealers want £130 for a new pipe :eek: Does anyone know if there's a 'samco' replacement? :S

Sorry for the hijack, but to prevent a re-post.... I'm doing roughly the same thing! But because my insert has been cracked, Spraying it won't work. Does anyone have a small off-cut of silver carbon fibre effect film they can donate/sell? say 15cm square? :)

Baby on the way! Easy access for child seat :) And I'm a fat b*stard so much easier getting in and out when parked in a tight space! The 1.5DCi is about practicality from my point of view, not looks... thats what all me other motors were for :D

Smart repair at my local bodyshop is about £100 + VAT. And you would never know it's been done. Go to a good local sprayer mate, get it done properly, you won't regret it and it WON'T cost you the earth. £50 sounds "too good to be true" to me, so it probably isn't or at least it ain't very good.

Ah, OK scrub that then! I'd get to a mechanic and pay a few quid to have it checked. Can't be too careful when it comes to oil-type issues.

Opie Oils will give excellent oil recommendations mate, give them a bell. When was your oil last changed? I'd check your oil, top up with a run-of-the-mill brand for now. Monitor levels to establish if you are loosing/burning oil (regularly over the next few weeks). Then, I'd get my oil/filter...

I found 20p under the seat too so I was f*cking made up!!! ;) That makes sense on the blue wire then. Perhaps the power cable on mine is only part there too... It's got an in-line fuse holder (no fuse in it) and then like I said, not sure where it goes from there.

Ah hello again bud! Yup it's already wired up... The only thing I don't understand is that I have a power cable coming off the battery, running into the bulkhead and I can't see where that ends up. Assumed that would run to the amp but I can't see it there. All the speaker cables seem to be...

Only that I would have liked a free amp! ;) What's the benefit of amping up though?

Just got my new Clio on Friday and wanted to install my HU. On doing so, I found what looked like cables for an amplifier in the back of the old HU :S On tracing these back, I found them all terminating under the rear bench but the amplifier has been removed! :mad: I also found nice infinity...
