It was barely tight when the head sheared off, serves me right for being a spanner and loosening it in the first place.
Anyway, had no luck getting it out so it's a job for the weekend.
Removing the plenum to change spark plugs and like a tw&t removed the wrong bolt from the rear left...
Quickly realised it was the wrong one to remove but on tightening up again the head has sheared off.
Basic question is how crucial is this (not sure if it's holding down the rocker cover or...
Mine did that, all sorted when I put the new one in.

Lowered my cup using Eibach Pros today - put it all back together again and I'm left with this gap.
Can't really see how else it could work to be honest but never noticed before.
Have I f**ked up? Cheers for any help
I had the same problem with my cup - power would surge or drop when the speedo kicked in (or out).
Part number: 7700418919 (Speedo Sensor C2 - the one that fits on the gearbox).
