When my 172 is at full lock to the right it makes a bit of a knocking noise does this mean that the shockers are FU**£0?

Hello, Im about to get my first 172 after enduring 3 years of cheap insurance on a 1.2 dynamique! The car I have made an offer on is a 51 plate in Iceberg silver that looks totally imaculate and only has 18k on the clock. Can anyone give any advice on if there any "lees that obious" things...
