This has been me over the past couple of weeks
However, Halfords have now refunded all 4 tyres and they are being removed tomorrow.
Just need to find an offer on PS5's or CS7's now.
Just keep your eyes on your mirrors into "rocket" for @Flob or @Sheila’s’ Wheels’ outbraking themselves up the inside of you as you turn into the corner :ROFLMAO:
Informed Halfords i wanted my old tyres put back on and my money back last Thursday.
Just been told i cant have a refund as the tyres have been driven on :ROFLMAO:
Told them they have 2 days to sort it out before i get Amex involved and plaster it all over the internet that they are a useless...
So the tyres were swapped on Friday.
It is MUCH better now, although there is still a slight vibration through the seats at 70-80mph which i'm pretty sure wasnt there before.
There is also a chunk out of my freshly refurbed wheel as the 225 tyre was rather stretched onto the 8.5J rim and an...
Yeah, its the mobile balancer in the back of the Halfords van.
May have found some of the problem tonight, after sending him a load of photos of the car, just well looking a bit weird, @TheEvilGiraffe suggested that i check the correct wheels were fitted front/rear (staggered setup). Passenger...
Tyres rebalanced yesterday. Seemed a bit better on a quick drive up the road with the fitter ... apparently the fronts hadnt been done properly before ... Just drove it on a private road at 60-85 ish and its still horrendous, like awful, dashboard and seats feel like they are going to vibrate...
18’s on mine.
Halfords mobile fitted them.
225/40/18 front, dated 08/25
255/35/18 rear, dated 01/24
Have a weird look to them as well, fronts look really stretched onto the rim (compared to the Goodyear Efficient Grips i had before), whereas the rears look really chonky and fat (vs the...
Seems i now have to deal with this @Danith.
4 x Eagle F1 6’s fitted to the 335i by Halfords on Monday and it feels like im driving on rocks. Seats, steering wheel, dash, basically the whole car shakes at anything over 60mph. Its horrendous.
They are re-balancing them today; but expect no...
@withoutabix removed them here: https://cliosport.net/threads/project-56-clio-trophy.586229/page-13#post-9286336
He might be able to tell you who he sold them to, although it was 2013.
I just cancelled it online.
They did actually come round to check a few months later, so i invited them in and showed them my lack of TV aerial (its a new build house).
Same.
I turned up by myself, in a mini, to a Clio event. Pretty sure i introduced myself to you as Sir_Dave and your autism-dar connected and all was good.
Crikey they've dropped in price!!
I got £800 for my standard centre section/cats back in 2022.
@JackD car looks sooo much better on the silver wheels. Absolutely lovely

Our Admiral multi-car went from £1k last year to £1.5k, now back down to £1.2k after some “negotiation”. TT pretty much stayed the same at £200, but the mini doubled (due to the windscreen claim no doubt) and the X5 went up 25% because, well, its an X5.
