JclioD just fitted it all to how your picture is....above 3000 rpm and wen i floor the gas you hear this deep sounded purr of a noise which is pleasing!!ive currently got the silver feed around 2 inches away from the gap?will increasing or decreasing this distance improve the noise??cheers for...

martin wot modifications have you made to your airbox?i may resort to placing about 5 CAF to the gap in the airbox and hopefully this gives off a good noise!!!if this does not work the heat shield induction kit could be a solution!wot u think?

just finished puttin it the same as in the pic apart from no CAF going into the silver duct hosing.havn't noticed any sort of noise change jus sounds the same to me!!!!wondering whether to convert back to standard!!!wot u all think?cheers

took the standard CAF off last night...dint really notice any noise changes that much but cud hear the air bein sucked in wen i press the accelerator...i may have a go today on puttin it to how yours is in that piccy..did u fix the silver ducting with cable tags or summit?how wud it stay...

also will this damage the engine in any way?

thanx for that mate.....also in the picture, have you attached the standard cold air feed to the bottom of the silver cold air feed and placed that down at the lower bumper?do you get a noticeable sound difference and any uincreased throttle response?many thanx for your comments

ye the only problem with that is i will be sucking in warm air which is the complete opposite of what i am trying to achieve.

just joint a cold air feed to the standard airbox air feed and placed it at the front grille.no noticable sound or performance increase but maybe it is filtering better?!?is what i have done a good thing to do or can it damage the engine in any way?

so your saying take the origninal cold air feed thingy out at the moment and replace with a longer one going from the grille into the open slot?will this add to any sort of noise?
